What's this about?[edit]

Please read en:Human rights in Uzbekistan, en:Andijan massacre or any other article in the en:Category:Human rights in Uzbekistan.

Will this be a whitewash attempt by a brutal dictator end his cronies? Or what's the intention of this? The title of this project is something, that includes love for torture and human rights violations, so it should be made clear, that there is no love for dictators within the wikiverse. --Grüße vom Sänger ♫(Reden) 08:16, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sänger, are you sure that you have read the page? It will be an edit-a-thon like WAM. Uzbekistan has a rich culture and history and it is sad that it is not covered a lot in Wikimedia. --Ochilov (talk) 09:11, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Also please read this manual. I understand your point here. Let's look at some examples: We do not like the regimes of North Korea or Nazi Germany, but it is interesting to write about it. Uzbekistan is not just people here, it is a combination of culture variety, a long history, languages and etc. --Ochilov (talk) 09:21, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
