I feel like this name was really not thought through. Punctuation is important. Maybe "Wiki Loves Human Rights:Child Trafficking" or at least "Wiki Loves Human Rights/Child Trafficking" would be better? Beeblebrox (talk) 19:29, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

I agree. The wording is embarrassingly awkward. Perhaps "Wiki Loves Human Rights/Child Trafficking Awareness Project" or some such language... Any of the above would be an improvement. --mikeu talk 20:43, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
+1 I saw this link somewhere and wanted to raise the same concerns. I would propose Wiki Loves Human Rights: Child Trafficking Awareness. I think the / version aboce is even more misleading… --MGChecker (talk) 23:50, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
This is a general problem with Wiki Loves X-labelled efforts. Requests for comment/Wiki Loves X didn't get enough attention, so there still hasn't been anything done about the name. The point of "Wiki Loves Human Rights" is to document human rights-related content, and similarly we have some work on documenting child trafficking-related content, only the potential misunderstanding that we endorse child trafficking is more noticeable than the potential misunderstanding that we endorse human rights or monuments or any given country. The general label really needs changing. --Yair rand (talk) 00:24, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
I actually think Wikimedia, by promoting (free) knowledge, in extensions should love monuments and human rights… While this might be an additional issue, I do not think this is the right place for this more general debate. --MGChecker (talk) 01:17, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't think the move to include "Awareness" is correct. This is not about awareness, it's about documenting child trafficking-related topics. Wikimedia does not promote awareness of any given problem. That would be a violation of neutrality. --Yair rand (talk) 02:00, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
"We hope to spread awareness on the topic" is stated on the front page. And of course Wikipedia promotes awareness by writing about given topics. This is in no conflict with neutrality. Furthermore, the incentive of people to write articles does not have to be neutral. --MGChecker (talk) 02:37, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I'm an admin at the Albanian wiki and we're soon having an edit-a-thon in regard to this activity. I was checking around to gather information about it and saw that the articles' subpage has a problem with the module invocation. I may be able to help if someone can tell me what the initial intention was. - Klein Muçi (talk) 10:55, 6 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
