Hello guys

I have two questions at the moment...

• I see you have planned 2 edit-a-thons/upload sessions. If those are upload sessions... I take it those occur during the contest right ? So you have not planned post events sessions. Am I correct ?
• I am curious as to why the food during the trip is 4 times the cost of the food during the working session. Is there a reason why ?

Hello Anthere we a planned to have one edit-a-thon after the duration of the campaign but we omitted it in order not to get the budget inflated, however we intend to use funding from the coffers of Open Foundation West Africa for this.

The food during the trip is higher because it covers a whole day's feeding for volunteers who will be travelling to a festival in a distant whereas the feeding for the working session is just for a sitting.Rberchie (talk) 18:04, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

So the main problem is that with the budget given by the WMF, we explicitly said that the budget per country should be between 800 to 1000 dollars. And yours is 1200 dollars. Do you think you can make that fit with 1000 dollars ? Or address the difference with OFWA ? Or do you need to slightly change the proposal ? Anthere (talk)

Hello Anthere as stated earlier OFWA will support the project with $200 from its coffers so we will slightly change the proposal to suit the $1000 budget.RegardsRberchie (talk) 15:11, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Team Ghana! Thanks for the proposal. I would just like to ask about the marketing materials - you have listed t-shirts as the only marketing materials. Would flyers, posters, etc at universities, music festivals and photographic shops, etc. not be a more strategic plan? Also, what are you going to do to ensure quality submissions? Finally, if the OFWA is indeed 'sponsoring' elements, it needs to be made clear in your budget exactly what is being sponsored. Anticipating your changes!! Hi Islahaddow,

We have reviewed the budget to fall within the specified budget stream for the campaign. The total budget amount surpasses the required amount by $196.75, which is the amount we intend to support from our coffers as stated earlier in this thread. The various lines we are willing to cater for are the Awards, Marketing Materials, Logistics & with an additional amount of $17.8 to make up for the amount we have quoted in support for the campaign. We have out of experience learnt that partnering with experienced photographers or photography groups ensures quality submissions. Also moving together in photowalks allows us to supervise the work and output for submission. --Flixtey (talk) 09:54, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
