German women in the 2011 fundraiser

[edit]

The page says: During the December 2011 fundraising appeal, no Germans, men or women, were featured are part of the appeal.. However, the German chapter ran several appeals by German women, including Alice Wiegand, long-time Wikipedian who also has a very important part in coordinating the German OTRS team and has been a member of the board of WMDE, Katrin "Kadda" Rönicke, feminist net activist & blogger and others. --Johannes Rohr (WMDE) 16:33, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Johannes, I would suggest that you clean up the German page and add the above link directly. Laura is storming the whole countries and take anything she can get her hands on and paste it there. At some countries it still looked like a paste and copy job. It would be better if you are in the known, to edit it, it would be very helpful. Also, are you (WMDE) sending any of the women above to the conference? They might find it enlightening. Siska.Doviana 11:26, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hi Siska, thanks, I added the info to the page. The decision whose participation will be supported by WMDE will be subject to an open application process. Therefore there is no way of knowing at this point in time. Thanks, --Johannes Rohr (WMDE) 12:16, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Johannes, at least we know that you are now considering it, I'll pass it on to the organizer. Siska.Doviana 15:23, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
