The format of a wikinac and a wiki people's alamnac would be substantially different. While a wikinac would be a traditional alamac with focus mainly on statistics, pure facts and data a wiki people's alamanc would follow more on the lines of the Book of Lists, and the People's almanac, and provide trivia and esoteric informatin, unkown facts, little known events, lists and the bizarre. Thus while both projects may be almanacs I feel that they would be substantially different in focus. I don't think that the kind of information that the People's alamanc wouul include would be acceptable in a conventional almanac, therfore the projects should be seperated. To lessen confusion I would be willing to change the name of my project to wikiSignifica

I would reccomend anyone who wants an ideal of the style of this project to read any book from the People's Almanac and Book of Lists series. While both works are copyrighted preventing this project from being a direct duplication, I would reccomend following in the "spirit" of those works. --Gary123 01:04, 12 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
