[edit]About Name
[edit]I think there can exist confusion with medecine project, don't you think so? --Oldstoneage (talk) 15:58, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- I think the same. WikiMedi sound similar to WikiMed, but also to WikiMedia. We could look for an alternative name. --Millars (talk) 17:22, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- Some thing like Wiki Mediterran or Wikiterran perhaps? @Dyolf77:. Mediterran is the name of the sea in maltese language witch is a good example of mix between different mediterranean cultures and languages. --Oldstoneage (talk) 18:44, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- Wikimedano : wikimedia mediterranean organisation :/ --Oldstoneage (talk) 23:41, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- Potential confusion not just with Wiki Medicine but also Wikimedia itself, with just one letter difference. Plausible alternative: Wikiterranean? Green Giant (talk) 18:23, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

this table by the middle term middle or وسط are most often comes ;I propose the name wiki middle = wikimiddle
Wiki Mediterran
[edit]I also like more Wiki Mediterran because wikimedi is a bit confusing. I also thing that wikimiddle or wikimid would be even more confusing (the middle of what?). Btw, is it going to be a user group?--Micru (talk) 09:47, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi @Micru:, This initiative still has no precise form, it is for us to decide. In my opinion, it has to help to create a cooperation between the affiliates of the region, with some common goals like improving content about the history, the environment and all about Mediterranean sea. It would also be interesting to create events and why not also a meeting. For me we must guide the project to bring together contributors from around the sea on common projects. --Oldstoneage (talk) 21:36, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Micru and Oldstoneage: The votes phase was closed on Monday 29 June, Wiki Mediterran was chosen with three voices, and then what should we do? Cordially --Reda benkhadra (talk) 15:27, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
