A few thoughts

[edit]

SJ and everyone,

  • 1. Have a table showing the scheduled topics or requested topics for schedule
  • 2. Transclude the meeting notes into the bottom of the WL3C
  • 3. Use a scheduling period, like one per quarter to request for ideas and solicit speakers to invite. Therefore, in each 12 weeks, with a bi-weekly setup, there will be 5 topic sessions + 1 planning session, each 2-3 timeslots, we can schedule them all together at that time.

WDTY?

I like this + the idea of defining a set of topics we care about, and then seeing where they fit into a ~6-session schedule (based on availability of interested people, or based on when the participants think they can write up a summary of what is happening + what is needed.)

We might also make a list of related projects / readings / WikiProject groups (some of which have their own tiny on-wiki updates/newsletters/notification groups). –SJ talk  20:42, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts on the next few meetings

[edit]
  • Next time:
    • Develop a Meta page format/template for wikiloop processes, and a set of topics for the next 3 mo
    • Post a draft agenda, invite people to add to it
    • Draft a 'state of wikiloops' summary of large-scale feedback from different sources (GKG, S2, OAG, dbpedia)
  • Map a couple existing loops to this template, as illustration
  • For ~4 weeks out: plan a session on the bulk API
