==Isn't this more of a wikimedia.org page draft???== --Kozuch 21:05, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is a great sort of page to maintain, but there seem to be a number of 'tasklist' pages across meta. Making the top set of tasks a subpage such as Volunteering/WMF would help organize the rest. And more explicitly indicating how others can help as volunteers - from maintaining wikibooks to the mirrors and forks pages to other stats pages... -- sj | help translate |+ 02:08, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Been Bold[edit]

I've been quite bold in re-purposing this page. I moved the outdated content to Volunteer Opportunities. I imagine that page will either evolve or be archived with a link to the best places to keep that information. My intent was to create a space for the community, including WMF staff, to discuss what volunteering means for Wikimedia, what could be done to expand it, what could be done to support it, etc.. I also needed a place to put brainstorming from the WMF into a public place so that the whole community could be involved. Is anyone interested in the organization or content of the m:Category:Volunteering pages? Jennifer Riggs 19:03, 2 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
