Bad argument #1

[edit]

I got a bad LUA warning on the page (Lua error: bad argument #1 to 'find' (string expected, got nil)): I think I fixed that by removing a stray nowiki tag in the newsletter page, and re-marking it for translation. --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 20:09, 7 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Before delivering, a stray nowiki warning appeared. Guillaume fixed that by remarking the last version for translation and fixing some translated subpages. --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 15:51, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hi User:Guillaume (WMF) , please see the message I get on the page , "Lua error: too many language codes requested". --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 10:10, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Even with my workaround (leaving some languages out), when I copy/paste the content into MassMessage things don't look right anyway (part of the "switch" code is visible, and all the various versions are shown in the preview). --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 17:23, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Fixed by User:Skizzerz. Thanks a lot!!! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 19:08, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I didn't see this until now. It looks like you didn't need me after all :) Guillaume (WMF) (talk) 18:04, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Well, it's the holidays, so since I wanted to meet the deadline I had to just give up and didn't deliver to all of those wikis. I filed T85461 about this. Best, --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 18:32, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh, right, I only saw "fixed" and missed the part where you said you had to leave some out :/ Guillaume (WMF) (talk) 19:01, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is another way to fix that error. :D --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 15:43, 14 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Attempt to perform arithmetic

[edit]

"Lua error in Module:Assemble_multilingual_message at line 68: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'startIndex' (a nil value)." seems to have been solved by Johan with this edit. --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 14:06, 24 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
