Hooray
[edit]@Johan (WMF), Trizek (WMF), Quiddity (WMF), and Reise Reise: According to a festive display on timeanddate.com, the event of the publishing of this newsletter was 12 hours ago. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 19:02, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- The planned publication deadline is very rough – it depends a lot on what else we (usually I) have to do that day and when that has to be done, when my video meetings are scheduled and so on. It's more to give translators an idea of how long they can safely wait with translating the issue than anything else. (: /Johan (WMF) (talk) 19:32, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Johan (WMF), Trizek (WMF), and Quiddity (WMF): This newsletter has one item. It will happen tomorrow between 14:00 and 15:00 UTC. If nobody has done the delivery by then, you might as well skip it entirely. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 19:38, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- The newsletter will, as is always the case unless something has gone wrong, be delivered Monday evening, CET. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 19:47, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- My typical delivery window – and Trizek and Quiddity might handle this slightly differently – is roughly between 17:00 och 03:00 Monday evening/Tuesday morning CET, usually between 17:00 and 23:00 CET but on rare occasions later. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 19:58, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- I thought it was earlier (like in the morning), but I think I was confused, maybe by the timeanddate.com link. I see the newsletter was just delivered, thank you! — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 21:38, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- I've updated the time in the link to more accurately reflect the earliest potential delivery time. It will still be later – sometimes far later – most days, though, as the window is flexible depending on other tasks. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 23:03, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
