No. This is already mentioned in that note, and I already agreed with Guillaume Tech News is a good place to reassert the concept. --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 10:49, 11 October 2014 (UTC) PS: to clarify, I meant the note I sent to translators, not the one G. usually sends. I'd argue Tech News reaches more people than just those who signed up in the Translators' mailing list (I know several who don't), hence why I aim to TN mentioning this.
