Why are you using links to gerrit.wikimedia.org and bugzilla.wikimedia.org instead of gerrit: and bugzilla:? PiRSquared17 (talk) 03:37, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Probably also so that these links appear only as small numbers between brackets withour showing the actual long bug number or whever they are on Gerrit or Bugzilla...
I had thought changing it once, but resisted to it only because these too long wikilinks were polluting more than external links with URLs shown as small integers. verdy_p (talk) 23:04, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
verdy_p is right: using external links means they appear as numbered links, which is less visually distracting, and resembles how we format sources, which they are. guillom 07:53, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
