I translated the sr(-*) lang (+variants) within the CentralNotice interface. If anyone wants to transfer the translations here, be my guest. --FiliP × 10:01, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Esperanto

[edit]

The published Esperanto translation was ugly. Please republish the new one. Thanks. Arno Lagrange  10:09, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

It should be published already. Changes to the notices typically take up to 30 minutes to appear. --Az1568 (talk) 10:14, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, how to "publish" the translation?--117.196.162.139 15:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

You mark the translation on the other page as "ready" for publishing. Cbrown1023 talk 17:48, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nominate yourself - what is this intended to mean?

[edit]

In the original it says "Nominate yourself." Is this meant as an encouragement to do so (in some translations an exclamation mark was added, but not in the English message) or is it short for "If you would like to nominate yourself, you can follow this link"? --Rosentod 17:37, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

It is an invitation to nominate, so it would be more like the latter. Cbrown1023 talk 17:48, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
The German translation now says more the former. The latter is more difficult to get across with a short phrase in German. I have to think about it. --Rosentod 19:15, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tagalog

[edit]

Please kindly republish tl message, I had to change a word into a more appropriate one. Earlier, I marked it as "ready" again for republishing. Thank you. Appreciate it. - AnakngAraw 17:40, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Info: word changed was ihalal, which became "iharap". Thanks. - AnakngAraw 17:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Should be done. Cbrown1023 talk 18:20, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. - AnakngAraw 18:39, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hebrew

[edit]

The Hebrew translation was published successfully, but appears left-aligned, which is pretty bad, considering that Hebrew is written from right to left. could someone fix this? דניאל צבי 09:51, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, thanks to whoever took care of it. דניאל צבי

Norwegian edit

[edit]

Made a grammar edit to Norwegian (nb, not nn). Not sure if nn is correct, but I'm less familiar with the grammar there... Tales 14:56, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, but to tell us to update it all you need to do is change the status from "published" to "ready". :) Cbrown1023 talk 15:21, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Aha, thanks! Tales

Remove empty div from CentralNotice

[edit]

The template for the CentralNotice has a empty div at his end. This div where shown as grey line in the Internet Explorer (7). Please remove this empty div from the template. Thanks. Der Umherirrende 17:43, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should be fixed. I'll need to look into this more... removing that line would make it visible to anons. We don't want that. ;-) --Az1568 (talk) 22:57, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ah, that is to different between anon and registred user. Bei using the normal sitenotice it is different by MediaWiki, that's a better way.
What about .siteNoticeSmallAnon { display:none; }? Der Umherirrende 18:05, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
The central notice still produce a grey box after logout in IE. Please fix that behaviour. Thanks. Der Umherirrende 17:39, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
