Talk:Requests for comment/Shut down Wikiversity
Add topicIt should be merged to No to Wikiversity. Hillgentleman 03:56, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- No, it shouldn't. That page is ancient and based on theoretical problems with Wikiversity before Wikiversity was deployed. This petition is based on 5 years of empirical evidence of Wikiversity's flaws. Raul654 03:59, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
It seems like it would be more accurate to place this page at Proposals for closing projects/Closure of English Wikiversity and note it at Proposals for closing projects, at least if this is a serious proposal. -- Adrignola 13:39, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Clean up - uninvolved admin needed
[edit]Could an uninvolved admin please clean up the discussion and possibly move material that is getting out of hand to the talk page? There seems to be far too much hostility right now. Ottava Rima (talk) 15:42, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- Also, could someone deal with Moulton's edits. He is banned on Meta. Ottava Rima (talk) 15:46, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Comment moved from RfC page to RfC talk page
[edit]This was posted after the discussion was closed. I've moved it here:
- What is the difference with Wikibooks and Wikiversity? In the few, organized School: pages which have courses, such as School:Electrical engineering, there is a curriculum to follow. If you look at the information provided though, you'll find that it is a dumbed down version of the Wikibook on electrical engineering. The only things that aren't in the Wikibook are the exercises and quizzes. It seems to me that if we just add an active participants list in Wikibooks we are all set.--Charcoal 04:07, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

RfC page protected
[edit]I have protected the RfC page now that the discussion there is closed. New comments should be taken to one of the alternate venues I mentioned in my closing comments. --A. B. (talk) 11:26, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
