Newsletter Copyedit

I would like to complete my copyedit of the Foundation Newsletter. For this, I need an acccount. Therefore, I am requesting an account for the Foundation website.RoseParks 03:29, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

The newsletter should not have been moved to the Foundation wiki until it is in its final publishable form. All corrections should be happening on meta until it's finished. The version on the foundation site will not an editable one. Angela 21:54, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I had no part in this newsletter being moved before the copyedit was finished. If you, Angela, prefer to leave the Newsletter with mistakes in it, so be it. I am not saying I want it to be left with errors. I'm saying you can edit the one that is on meta. It should never have been moved but since people seem to be linking to it, I can't very well delete the one on the Foundation site now. Angela

Hum, technically, it seems to me that once the NL is moved, one of the two versions should be protected for it not to be editable. Sj, what is the current policy on that ? We are certainly doing some copyedit on the french one right now. I understand Angela position here, but I think there is something unclear. In all cases, Rose has been there for very long and her involvement in nupedia on top show that she is really fine. Hence I created her an account. Rose, you should receive a mail. If not, please bip me. Anthere (a bit confused about what is best to do, but not willing to hurt anyone here :-))
