  1. As discussed in an exchange via email, inviting every affiliate with staff or on a WMF-APG to the meeting should be considered, simply because the things we discuss there will most certainly also be of interest to them. I also think that in terms of discussing the strategic direction and the work of the working groups it makes less and less sense to silo off the discussion between EDs and boards, since these developments affect everyone in equal measure. Philip Kopetzky (talk) 17:03, 12 May 2018 (UTC) I'm still planning on rewriting the draft on the financial aspects since the discussion at WMCon went in a different direction, sorry for the delay.Reply
  2. I'm not sure about the number (and selection) of affiliates which should be invited to this meeting which I formerly considered to be a "discussion table" rather than a full-scale cpnference of affiliates - which is IMO best achieved by a 'reformed' Wikimedia Conference in Berlin. As for the topics suggested for the next meeting, I feel like some of them have been already adequately addressed last time (funds, affiliates) and we should really talk about them only if there is a specific goal to be reached (a consensus? a white paper?). Conflict management and board quality are more focused on the development of participants (and their affiliates), which is cool but 'just talking' about these things (rather than holding a workshop etc) might not be enough.--Vojtěch Dostál (talk) 16:46, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Vojtěch Dostál: Sorry, to clarify my point, I was writing about the Wikimania meeting, not the one in November. I agree with you that the latter should be a more focussed affair. Best, Philip Kopetzky (talk) 21:32, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
