Things to avoid

I've removed the self promotion and objective piece. They are not blogging for WMF, but about WMF and associated items. Can they be subjective, and self promotional at times? NonvocalScream 02:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

I think when a near-obsessive self-promotion is the driving motivation of the blogger, as we have seen recently, the aggregator should not be his convenient vehicle for wider distribution. I note that the blogger I have in mind is not helping with this particular sub-project. -- Thekohser 16:32, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Honest question... have I helped or hurt this effort to draft a policy statement about Planet Wikimedia? I'm getting feedback that I am not welcome on Meta-Wiki, and that NONE of my edits in the past week have been productive for the project. -- Thekohser 02:45, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
