Text dump from online chat[edit]

Notes from chat between David Bovill, Pete Forsyth, Adam Hyde on May 7, 2020.

I started a Meta Wiki page for Open Publishing Fest.

It might also be good to start one for Wikimentary
Now What community -- basis for Earth Day collaboration
June 3 is governance event in series. After that, open science.
Wikimentary: couched in the idea of a feature film documentary, but at the core it is intended to be interactive (allowing participants to explore depth on any topic and add to it)
Likely future topic: open archives
I've started collecting my thoughts on governance here, please feel free to edit:

A fireside chat on the Wikimentary? 20-40 minutes...play with the screen format to capture the idea of a "fireside" (be as cheesy as you like)
Voicevoice
key company in initial Obama campaign. Maestro Conference - similar to Zoom
Small groups, max about 6...
Audience may largely consist of open publishers, but maybe not very multimedia-focused
Kiko chat - web based way of creating several spaces for online events
Miro / open learning commons
mattermost instance will be running
open science: CERN ... Africa Archive preprint services, OER stuff, R- based platforms for publishing...
David: financing open publishing in science, was in Minsk...
Possible moderators: Dirk Slater, Cameron Naylon, John Chudeki.
Maybe David Bovill?
