Definition of "home wiki"

I know that everybody seems to know what a home wiki is, but I'm wondering if there's a page that defines it. I'm curious because currently my obvious "home wiki" is en.wikipedia: it's the first wiki I had an account, the basis of my unified login and where I currently have the plurality of my edits. But there have been times when my contributions on Commons and en.wikibooks (I tend to focus on one of the three at any given time, I'm not good at multitasking) have come close to surpassing it. And I like the atmosphere on Commons better. What defines a "home wiki?" Will it always be the one that served as the basis of unified login, is it the one that has the most edits, or the first edits, or what? --Quintucket 01:19, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

According to Help:Unified login#How to unify your accounts, “[t]he wiki where the account of that username has the most contributions will become the home wiki”. The most at account unification time, I suppose. But I notice that now the English and French Wikipedias come in that order and rather close together, far ahead of every other project, when sorted by the number of my contributions; but the French WP is listed as my home wiki even though the English one is now ahead. AFAIK, there's nothing I can do about it: I'm branded as “French” forever, even if I go on doing more English edits than French ones. I suppose I could be regarded as (at least) bilingual; but somehow the label “Frenchie” doesn't feel right to me. — Tonymec (talk) 06:48, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

This page is about what you consider your "home". The "home wiki" in SUL sense has no particular meaning and can be ignored. --Nemo 09:00, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
