Few more missing..

Doing a bit of work in upgrading AWB, and came accross some IW's that would seem to be missing from the AWB IW (and therefore the meta IW) sorting list..

nomcom isnt a general use wiki, and "minnan" is an alias..

Thanks

The sorting order list only includes wikis whose links appear in the "other languages" sidebar. That's not the case with tokipona:, nomcom:, or minnan:. I'll go ahead and add the others, though; thanks. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 23:10, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Never mind about tokipona:. For some reason, it's been turned back into a normal interwiki code... – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 23:25, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

The sorting lists currently contain 269 (self.alphabetic) and 271 (self.alphabetic_revised) codes, but there exists 266 Wikipedias and additionally 6 aliases can be used to create interwiki links (dk, nan, nb, tp, zh-cn and zh-tw), this gives total 272. The question is: should aliases be included in these lists? AFAIK, pywikipedia bot (don't know whether AWB too) doesn't sort aliases but just replaces them with codes of Wikipedias that they redirect to. --Filemon 18:14, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

I added all missing aliases, now there are 272 codes on both lists. I also updated sorting order – some displayed language names has changed recently:

  • aa has changed from "Afar" to "Qafár af"
  • zh-classical has changed from "古文 / 文言文" ("Gǔwén / Wényánwén") to "文言" ("Wényán")
  • ug has changed from "Oyghurque" to "Uyghurche‎ /ئۇيغۇرچە"
  • za has been changed from "(Cuengh)" to "Sawcuengh"
  • cbk-zam has changed from "Zamboangueño" to "Chavacano de Zamboanga"
  • na has changed from "Ekakairũ Naoero" to "Dorerin Naoero", it is relevant only for the second sorting list
  • to has changed from "faka-Tonga" to "lea faka-Tonga", it is relevant only for the second sorting list

Other corrections I've made:

  • moved fo ("Føroyskt") after hif ("Fiji Hindi")
  • moved pam ("Kapampangan") after kr ("Kanuri")
  • moved ii: "ꆇꉙ" is transcribed as "Nuoxhxop", not as "Yi"
  • moved xal on the second list: "Хальмг" should be transliterated as "Hal'mg", "Kalmyk" is not a transliteration but an English name
  • moved kj ("Kwanyama") on the first list after ku ("Kurdî")
