new wikis
these need to be added, not sure what the orders should be:
wuu mzn new lbe eml bxr hsb nov pag bar bpy diq zea roa-tara cbk-zam zh-classical cu ru-sib glk cdo
88.110.120.6 16:45, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure too, but I think this order would be correct for Wikipedias that use sorting based on local language. --Filemon 18:50, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I would say that zh-classical should be sorted as guwenwenyanwen, just like the Polish page suggests. zh-classical = 古文 / 文言文, and 古 is pronounced as "gu". This is like other variants of Chinese, such as zh-yue = 粵語, where 粵 is pronounced as yuet. And wuu = 吴语, where 吴 = wu. --Chochopk 03:38, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Order in Hebrew wikipedia
Hi there,
There was a mistake here - iw links in the Hebrew Wikipedia are not sorted by the two letter code, but by the by order of alphabet, based on local language, with English first.
I corrected it on the page, but how do i make sure that the bot owners know that? Thanks. --Amir E. Aharoni 19:20, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK, apparently the situation in the Hebrew Wikipedia is not exactly as i thought. There is a decision that English is first, and the other languages are sorted alphabetically, but the decision as it is written does not say whether it is the alphabetical order of language names or language codes. Link provided, and i hope that everyone can read Hebrew :) ... --Amir E. Aharoni 19:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
