- @Prototyperspective is the primary use case to "clip" or jump to a timestamp and share in an article as a citation, or show a specific clip to support an article? JWheeler-WMF (talk) 19:58, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- No, the primary use-case is jumping to a specific section of a spoken Wikipedia audio such as to a specific section. There's further primary uses and lots of other uses including those two but I listed several other ones in the article. For example, on WMC videos often have chapters about different topics and one can't jump to the different timestamps if one is only interested in a particular one. There's too many usescases to list them all but one is explained in the first sentence of the proposal to make it clearer. Spoken Wikipedia audios can be very long (videos sometimes too) so this feature is needed much. Prototyperspective (talk) 20:02, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
