What about Remove language links except for {these} ?
[edit]I'm not sure I understood the proposal sufficiently. I would find it useful if it was possible to hide all language links in wikis with the language-sidebar on the left except a few specified ones, if possible with one button to see all the hidden ones. This would make it much easier to navigate around and see things quickly. Is this (also?) what this proposal would be about or what it would enable? For example, I'd like to hide all language links except e.g. Spanish, German, English, Italian. In wikis with the language dropdown at the top it would only show only these languages at the top. Or is there already a setting to specify which languages should be shown there? I think that would be needed instead of having only "Suggested languages". On the other hand, people may exclude languages from the top there even if these would later become useful but I still think there should be a setting for that. - Thanks for clarifying. Note that the slash in the title is not shown in the page title. I think from the wish and the phab ticket one can think this is only about unpinning suggested languages and I'm still not sure if that's what the wish is about. Instead of only being able to unpin suggested language, I think there should be a way to specify which languages should be pinned. If you can only pin or unpin languages you may set it up like you want but then a new suggested language is added to the pinned ones which you need to unpin again for the intended set of displayed languages (repeat every x days/weeks).
