Great idea. I'd be interested in a phab issue if there is one for it if it has been "a big topic before". It would save a fair amount of time and make things more complete. However, I think there would be big issues with infoboxes getting changed elsewhere and not noticed through an article's edit history watchers. One could for example make the infobox on the English Wikipedia or the largest version of the article synchronize with other language's infoboxes. Also if it only displays a note for editors that another language has a field filled that needs translation the data would get checked as well. Lastly, there could be something like suggested edits where data in a field of a infobox in another language version is displayed as "suggested" for editors (to add or decline it?).
