Cross-reference
[edit]Is it possible to know how many women and men answered the survey and cross-reference it with those who felt unsafe or uncomfortable? PatriHorrillo (talk) 17:03, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Good question, Patri! A gender perspective can be useful to understand the report in a deeper way. Hiperterminal (talk) 17:22, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @PatriHorrillo and @Hiperterminal! It is not possible to do this with this data. We only ask the one question to ensure users -- especially those who have felt unsafe -- feel comfortable answering an already difficult question. We thus collect as little other information as possible to reduce barriers to participation and increase the reliability of the data we do get.
- However, we are able to do some similar analyses using the Community Insights survey data. The 2022 Insights survey is currently finishing data collection so we should have analyses reported in the next few months, and you can read the related 2020 findings here as well as past reports.
- Thanks very much for your questions, and let me know if I can answer anything else! - TAndic (WMF) (talk) 19:07, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Many thanks Tanja, I understand. Hiperterminal (talk) 08:34, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @TAndic (WMF), thank you very much for this insight. However, I should say that this kind of cross-reference related to harassment is vital if we want to understand the problem and find solutions. I hope we can make other researches to make visible and fight more more effectively this toxic behaviour present in our community. Best regards. PatriHorrillo (talk) 08:54, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
