Talk:Cascadia Wikimedians/Education Program
Add topicStandardized reporting
[edit]Reporting should happen in some standardized way. Some education program outreach will be actually managing an instance of the "Wikipedia education program". Other outreach may include providing a training or workshop at or for students, or meeting with instructors to gauge their interest. Some of the links here may be to classes participating in the Wikipedia education program. Others links may be to other events. Some information which would be ideal to include would be the school affiliating, the year of event, the username of the Wikipedian managing the event, and perhaps a summary of at least a sentence. - Standards are always great, at least to have as a goal/template. The trick is usually just getting people to take the time to report. Without having the page become too convoluted, I think at least links to course pages, years, course names, and project managers should be included. Ideally, the number of participating students and outcomes would also be reported. --Another Believer (talk) 19:47, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
Wiki Med
[edit]Correct me if I am wrong, but I moved the Wiki Med UCSF project from the University of SF section to the University of California, San Francisco section. --Another Believer (talk) 19:55, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
Rgairolaautumn2011?
[edit]Was there an actual course name for the "Rgairolaautumn2011" project? A pipelink might be better at providing a more descriptive course name. --Another Believer (talk) 19:56, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
