- Personal info: After 12 years of serving as a steward I am of an opinion that I am still capable of serving for one more year. As to the past year, I think that I was reasonably active in a majority of areas, for managing which stewards are responsible. For instance, I was active in the local and global user right management (including global bot requests), managing global groups, processing lock/unlock requests as well as in the area of global IP blocks. In addition, I handled from time to time checkuser requests and answered to local assistance requests on the SRM board. Thank you in advance.

Grazie in anticipo.

- While I do personally trust Ruslik a lot as a Steward, the concerns raised below started to make me doubt, so I will remain Neutral for now. --Stïnger (会話) 15:29, 6 February 2023 (UTC).

I did not see the talk page section below before commenting. I'll hope that Ruslik0 responds to these concerns soon but if not, I will be changing my vote to remove per below... --Ferien (talk) 22:04, 5 February 2023 (UTC)- Actually, I won't change my vote. Still saying keep per Daniuu below. --Ferien (talk) 22:06, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
- Remove with regret. ~~~~
User:1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 21:54, 5 February 2023 (UTC) - Remove even if there is a severely belated answer to User_talk:Ruslik0#Special:CentralAuth/IlDonPedro (there is none yet, permanent link), for a lack of accountability. ToBeFree (talk) 23:02, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- Remove as per the discussion linked by 1234qwer1234qwer4 – the lack of accountability is unacceptable for a steward. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs) 05:31, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

- Remove Ruslik0 is a very active steward. Unfortunately the lack of accountability pointed above worries me.--*Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page ♮ 07:45, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Remove per above and maybe abuse of power. Thingofme (talk) 10:42, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Remove cannot vote to keep with the above example. IWI (talk) 11:10, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Very sadden but I think as a steward they should give an account of their actions, even if the intention is well meaning but refusal to answers queries will make one actions seems arbitrary. They granted me my GR rights so I am very reluctant to vote remove. Thank you for all your steward actions still as there are still many uncontroversial requests completed by them in a good manner. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 11:48, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
It is doubtfulI would very much like to hear from Ruslik on the discussed situation before making up my mind as the user is involved in many valuable activities.--reNVoy (user talk) 12:44, 6 February 2023 (UTC)- Moral support It's sad to see such an experienced steward resigning because of these circumstances but it seems like mistakes have been made.--reNVoy (user talk) 15:34, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- While the above concern is valid, I should also note that (over the years) I've noticed this user having a sort-of superiority complex on them at times (i.e, that they are right and others are wrong), which is also bad. I want to see a response from him before giving a formal keep/remove/netural. Leaderboard (talk) 16:29, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Update: I'm making this a Remove at this time - silence here isn't the way to go and I'm seeing weird responses from him here and on his talk page (what's the funny thing here?). Leaderboard (talk) 11:26, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- Keep The user was helped me and many other users many times, they all make mistakes, I believe removing this particular user from Steward will only have a negative impact. AlPaD (talk) 19:02, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Remove Per above. Lack of answer is, of course, unacceptable.)) Ruslik (talk) 20:49, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Martin Urbanec: Does this count as a resignation? 1989 (talk) 21:10, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @1989, thanks for the ping. No, a resignation would have to be explicit to be considered like one. For the ElectCom, Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:31, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

- Neutral i want to hear an explanation from Ruslik; we should keep in mind that they were an active steward & helped many users. removing him at the times like this would not benefit the project and it leaves negative impacts on others. 🌸 Sakura emad 💖 (talk) 22:03, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- one more important thing: he served 12 years as a steward, working Tirelessly on the project, doing all the house work that needed to be done, should we go against him just because of few months of mistakes? where our heart and mind goes? will we dismiss someone like him seeing only few months of mistakes not years of services? 🌸 Sakura emad 💖 (talk) 22:54, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- This is not necessarily a brand-new issue. ~~~~

- Neutral He has done great work but there has been an underlying attitude issue on occasion and I have opposed confirmation a few times in the past because of it. I am also concerned about having a steward based in Russia due to recent world events. --Rschen7754 01:16, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

- Keep I would like to know what he thinks. Let's trust him again, if he no longer has a superior attitude, he will give better explanations and be kind to colleagues.--Brunokito (talk) 05:43, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

- Remove with regret. The false positives themselves are an easy thing to resolve. They may, in fact, be correct, but the lack of communication in the process is a huge deal. I also would want a response, but a response has not been given for 9 months now and I don't expect it to be given after this. Their comment here, voting to "remove" their steward rights is just enough to toss it over the line for me. Not the behaviour or level of competence I would expect to see from a steward, regardless of their experience. ~StyyxTalk? 20:35, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

- I would have voted Weak keep. Ruslik being from Russia is a big elephant in the room for me because of the war and because I know neither his political stance nor how safe he is, on the other hand I had a positive experience talking to him during Wikimanias and I do hope that he keeps coming to the event perhaps after the war. As we both hang around SRPs I know that he is very helpful even though he has made a few big blunders over the years. I don't like how this situation has played out, some communication would have solved this (mistakes per se are not a problem, everyone makes them), but considering the former perhaps it is for the best for the time being. Thank you for your work! --Base (talk) 12:11, 26 February 2023 (UTC)
