A workshop and proofreadathon organized at Sringeri on 20th and 21th of December 2024.
Background
[edit]There is a Campus. of Central Sanskrit University, New dehli, in Sringeri. There They run 2 Years B.Ed course. There are EPC (Enhancing Professional Capacities) sessions in their curriculum. Education Department of Sringeri included Wiki workshop under the EPC program.
Structure
[edit]The Pupil teachers get knowledge about wiki. They are trained to proofread in wikisource and translating articles from their mother tongue to Sanskrit. They proofread important old texts and translate some articles in this workshop.

- No. This is only for the B.Ed I Year students of Central Sanskrit University, Sringeri Campus.
- Will Workshop be online?
- No. It will be held in Sringeri. Workshop will be visual.
- Can I join for 1 day, instead of 2 days?
- Partial participation is not possible.
- Is having laptop and connectivity mandatory?
- Its better to bring laptop and having connectivity. Its not mandatory. Organizers will arrange system.
