Description: Participants will learn how to use the AbuseFilter extension to fight vandalism on their wikis. Using this extension, one can define and write filters that check for edits that match a particular condition and perform a specific action when that happens. This workshop will be divided into two parts. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of vandalism that occur on their home wikis, so the mentor can demonstrate how to write filters to address them. If there is anything, in particular, related to this topic that you would like us to cover, please share it in advance by writing on the talk page.
Date & Time: December 6th, 18:00-19:30 IST (12:30 UTC)
Prerequisites: Bring instances of vandalism that you face on your wiki(s) or share them with us in advance, so we can help write filters to address those during the workshop.
