Research talk:Wikiproject Participation & Mentorship
Add topicIf having a newbie get involved in a Wikiproject early in their editing career is unusual it might be helpful to see what sort of prompts they have. There have been a few test welcomoes which have mentioned a wikiproject, but otherwise I'm assuming that newbies find out about wikiprojects via templates on article talkpages. Other than surveying them it may not be that easy to discern this unless you see a strong tendency for them to take part in Wikiprojects that are mentioned on the talkpage of aricles they have edited.
Also may I suggest that you look to see if you can make any suggestions for the wikiProjects as to how they can successfully engage newbies? WereSpielChequers 16:00, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
