Time sequence data and Global South survey
[edit]- Thanks @Jmorgan (WMF): - do you know of any time-sequence data on editors from the global south? Are there plans for a follow-up to the 2014 survey? –SJ talk 02:28, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- My understanding is that you need a user page link such as Jmorgan, which can be added with a template such as {{ping}}, but doesn't need to be. The trickier part is that the same edit that adds a user page link must also contain a timestamp in order to create an Echo notification. This is a hack to avoid false positives. --MZMcBride (talk) 06:06, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Sj.What kind of time-sequence data on GS editors are you looking for? Also: no, I don't know of any plans to follow up on the 2014 survey, but HaithamS (WMF) might! Cheers, Jmorgan (WMF) (talk) 01:16, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Replicating General User Survey
[edit]- Why replicate the page General User Survey here? Please merge. Nemo 14:06, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Nemo_bis. This page is a worklist for a specific research project, not a canonical list of reader surveys. I may add relevant links from here to Editor Survey and Readership survey as time permits, you are also welcome to do so. Cheers, Jmorgan (WMF) (talk) 01:16, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
