Other research questions

[edit]
  • How many GettingStarted editors receive thanks for their work? Thanks is a popular feature, but how many of our newbies are receiving gratitude for their work?

The above question isn't necessarily related to specific iterations, but is relevant nonetheless. Steven Walling (WMF) • talk 23:58, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Another one:

  • How does the edit tag ("new editor getting started") impact revert rates?

Status?

[edit]

I was just wondering about the status of this project, if you have any more recent results. Color me curious. Liz (talk) 18:15, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

@Liz: Hey there. This project is still active. We recently wrapped up analysis of our sixth A/B test, and we're now getting ready to start rolling out the most successful version there across Wikipedias other than English. Our UX specification currently describes the conditions from that test, and soon I'll be reworking it with plans for further (and permanent) rollout.
