A7. A smartphone provides mobile phone users more computer functionality and enhanced mobile Internet browsing. In addition, smartphones usually allow the user to install and run more advanced mobile apps as well as to have emails downloaded automatically for immediate access.

A feature phone is a messaging or multimedia phone that allows the user to watch videos, easily text message contacts with full keyboards and has access to the Internet. Although they often are preloaded with mobile apps from the manufacturer or carrier, the apps often times have less functionality. The phones cannot sync with computers and do not have advanced computing functionality.
