This page proposes a canonical definition of a "new page creator", a standardized user class describing new registered users who create articles.

WMF standardization

• We define a content page any page in a project's content namespace (in Wikipedia this is the article namespace, also known as namespace 0: pages created outside of this namespaces are not considered "content" pages for the purpose of analytics).
• The definition of this metric is otherwise based on the same assumptions as the new editor definition.
• TODO: clarify how cross-namespace moves and draft creations should be dealt with.
