This page in a nutshell: This research examines the differing edit patterns of new editors that joined English Wikipedia in three different ways: (1) the usual, pure online experience, (2) via graduate courses @ the University of Michigan and (3) via the University of Michigan Wikipedia club. The observations suggest a differing edit pattern for those new editors who joined via the club.
