This page documents the consent form of a research project. Researchers are required to follow the introductory script below and ask participants for verbal consent before the study begins.

Introductory script

  • Description: We are researchers at Carnegie Mellon University. We are running a pilot testing of the system we build to help evaluate AI models used in the English Wikipedia for assessing edit quality.
  • Risks and benefits: The risks and benefits associated with participation in this study are no greater than those ordinarily encountered in daily life or during.
  • Compensation: Max $150 for the current study.
  • Confidentiality: Your research data will be stored in a secure location on Carnegie Mellon property. By participating, you understand and agree that the data and information gathered during this study may be used by Carnegie Mellon and published and/or disclosed by Carnegie Mellon to others outside of Carnegie Mellon.
  • Voluntary: Your participation is voluntary. You are free to stop your participation at any point.
  • Contact: Tzu-Sheng Kuo, PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University.
