Arguments against
- Without identifiable people supporting this proposal, this proposal will be rejected. Thanks, GerardM 16:09, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- It has ~20 mil. people, but NOBODY seems to be interested. Reason: most people there don't have a computer, let alone internet access. This makes the difference between for example Westphalian, Alabama and Sudanese. Though Westphalian (no estimation available, might have the famous language/dialect discussion) and Alabama (~100) have little speakers or they're unsure, those people mostly have a computer and quite often with internet connection. According to the Grote Bosatlas, the civil rights are low, the judgement system is bad, it's economically a weak country, only 20-50% of the population can read/write, the food supply is less than 9500 kJ per inhabitant per day, a doctor has 5000+ people to tace care of and there are only 25-50 telephone connections per inhabitant (information 2004) It isn't really realistic that a large number of people (of which only few are interested/capable in sharing knowledge) have a computer or even internet access. --OosWesThoesBes 08:10, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- As per above. --Jose77 21:54, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose this crap. --Mo7amedsalim 20:49, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Other discussion
There are certain difficulties common to all proposals for Wikipedias for Arabic colloquials -- see the comments I just added to Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Lebanese... AnonMoos 13:53, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hoi, the arguments posted are irrelevant. What is relevant is that nobody supports this request. GerardM 11:46, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
