Requests for comment/User abuse
The following request for comments is closed. This is woefully premature. You've already used {{unblock}} on that wiki, that should attract an independent review. The Meta RfC process is for high-level issues with the governance of a wiki (and even that use is somewhat rare), not individual wiki issues. `* Pppery * it has begun 21:45, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Concern about unjustified block by admin Dr. Coal on Turkish Wikipedia Hello,
I am a long-term wedding and event professional from Turkey. My username on the Turkish Wikipedia is tr:Kullanıcı:Capsfiz.
I recently attempted to contribute to articles titled "Düğün planlayıcısı" (Wedding planner) and "Düğün kordonu" (Wedding cord), which were non-existent in the Turkish Wikipedia. I created them using objective, encyclopedic language and based them on academic sources without promoting myself or any brand.
Despite this, my edits were marked as advertising and were quickly deleted. Subsequently, I was indefinitely blocked by the admin tr:Kullanıcı:Dr. Coal, without a prior warning or community discussion.
I believe this action was unfair and possibly based on a pattern of personal bias, as I have faced reverts or resistance from this same admin in previous edits as well. I respect Wikipedia policies and would like to keep contributing constructively, but I now feel targeted.
I respectfully request an independent review of this block and the admin’s behavior, to determine whether the use of administrative tools was appropriate and neutral.
Thank you for your time and support.
