  • Reason why I need an account: It would be easier fixing tiny things such as grammar or making sure that edits to the Board page that remove people have the material archived. It's no big loss if I don't get this, but I have wanted to make a few changes over the years (including a request to Juliet tonight for one), and I had no idea until now that it was possible to request an account, which would make it easier to fix minor issues that I may run across. --Kevin Rutherford (talk) 01:51, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Ktr101: Most probably you forgot to link your userpage where you are active. ~ Nahid Talk 22:09, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Nahid: Thanks for that, as I was doing it on the fly. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 19:28, 10 February 2016 (UTC) [reply]

I close my request because the requirement to be administrator requested in a wiki, which do not meet the moment. --File:Alvaro Molina.png Alvaro Molina (Let's Talk) 18:13, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Reason why I need an account: I am requesting an account to write about my research on Maria Rosa, a Capuchin nun from Madrid, Spain who migrated to Lima, Peru in the early 1700's to establish a new Capuchin Convent. Her manuscripts were edited and translated by Sara E. Owens into a book titled Journey of Five Capuchin Nuns. My purpose for this is a final project for my women studies class at my university --Dani36UMBC (talk) 03:53, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am a education sector person mean (ICT in Education) i will some contribute after account create in educational purpose in wiki foundation thanks Nawaraj Ghimire (talk) 15:51, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nawaraj Ghimire - Are you sure you need to do this on Foundation wiki? It sounds like this is best done here on Meta-Wiki. Joe Sutherland (WMF) (talk) 15:06, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Projects where I'm involved: w:en:User:Guy Macon
  • E-mail address: foundationwiki(_AT_)guymacon.com
  • Reason why I need an account: I intend to run for election as a community-chosen member of the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, and would like to be able to put certain past resolutions and current discussions on my wikimediafoundation.org watchlist. I don't anticipate having any need to edit any pages on wikimediafoundation.org other than perhaps answering questions posted on my talk page. --Guy Macon (talk) 22:02, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi Guy Macon – unfortunately I'm not sure your use case meets the requirements for an account on the Foundation wiki at this point in time. We are reconsidering how accounts are activated on the Foundation's wiki in the future, though, so I'll get back to you if the policy changes. (In any case, very little discussion actually takes place on Foundation wiki :) ) Joe Sutherland (WMF) (talk) 21:23, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Joe Sutherland (WMF), since I only want to log in in order to be able to watchlist pages containing board resolutions, would it be possible to create the account and immediately apply a user-requested indef block? I believe that this would also allow me to set my preferences -- it is annoying having things like my preferred date format change when I read a page at wikimediafoundation.org. --Guy Macon (talk) 17:02, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
See Resolutions. I don't think Accounts should be crated for such reasons on foundationwiki. best --Steinsplitter (talk) 18:38, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
JSutherland (WMF) sorry, I already have those account , now I want to create an wikimedia account, not bangla wikipedia or wibooks account.-শাহাদাত সায়েম (talk) 17:34, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again শাহাদাত সায়েম - the Wikimedia Foundation wiki is actually kept mostly read-only, now—it doesn't work like the other Wikimedia projects. What are you planning to do on the Foundation's wiki? :) Joe Sutherland (WMF) (talk) 17:17, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am selected as a jury member for wiki loves monuments. I need an account for this. Sorry for multiple requests. I am using my iphone an pressed the wrong button.

Ali Parsa Persian wikipedia editor aliparsa@yahoo.com

@Aliparsa: Thanks for your request! Could you clarify what you need an account on the Foundation wiki for? I believe most of the Wiki Loves Monuments judging is done on Commons. Joe Sutherland (WMF) (talk) 23:22, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
