My name is Amir E. Aharoni. I am an editor since 2005 on en.wikipedia, he.wikipedia, ru.wikipedia, en.wikisource and commons, a sysop on he.wp (he:User:Amire80) and en.wp (en:User:Amire80), an OTRS volunteer and a member of Wikimedia Israel. My email is amir.aharoni@mail.huji.ac.il . I often read the Foundation wiki and find spelling mistakes. I can report them on Foundation wiki feedback, but it would be easier for everyone if I could make non-controversial corrections directly. Thank you. --Amir E. Aharoni 11:58, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

I occasionally notice errors and style issues on the foundation wiki, some of which I report on the feedback page. An account would allow me to fix them myself and improve the style of pages (mostly minor changes and surely uncontroversial). I'd also be willing to help out at the feedback page. I'm a sysop on multiple wikis (dewiki, meta, mediawikiwiki, wm2010) and oversight on dewiki. Kind regards, --Church of emacs talk · contrib 18:01, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Reason: Currently assisting with WMF Banner testing and checking Donation pages for errors in text, code and other issues. Would save a lot of time and trouble if I could fix what I find without having to leave lists of issues for others to handle, when you're busy enough already. I'm fully conversant with HTML, Wikicode and Image placements, so I may as well help while I can.

I'd like to help out with the wikignomish things around the site, including the to-do list. I'd be willing to help out with more if more was asked of me. I find myself generally trustworthy as I'm an admin on enwiki, Commons, and an OTRS volunteer. Thanks. Killiondude 00:06, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: I fully support this request and was inclined to fulfill it myself. I don't see any reason for it to be problematic and there's plenty to be done on wikimediafoundation.org that Killiondude could help out with. Reason: I currently am an administrator on the English Wikipedia. I'd like to kindly request an account as I wish to become more active in suggesting changes/updations/improvements to certain policies of our Foundation that are applicable across all projects; an account will allow me to provide regular inputs on our Foundation's website and would allow me to better serve the Foundation in the ways I have described. As a starting instance, I plan to begin by discussing certain changes to our Checkuser policy, changes which I believe will go further in our attempts to better our Foundation's interests. In the future, if I believe that such an account is not required any more, I shall request for the account access to be removed. Irrespective of whether this request is approved, I should take this chance to thank the Foundation for the opportunity to contribute to the administration of the project.

As such, the content is only beneficial for readers and infrequent contributors to learn about how the Foundation works.
