Proposals for closing projects/Deletion of Toki Pona Wikimedia projects
The result of the following proposal for closing a WMF project is to CLOSE the project. Please, do not modify this page.
All Wikimedia projects in Toki Pona are now closed, locked and completely empty (no articles in Wp, Wt, Wb, Wq) but they still exist, they appear in statistics and new (completely useless) user accounts still can be created there. I think that these zombie projects should be deleted from Wikimedia servers, as it was done before with Klingon (tlh) and Siberian (ru-sib) Wikipedia.
I propose that Toki Pona Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikibooks and Wikiquote be deleted and the corresponding subdomains (tokipona and tp) be removed from the Site matrix. --Filemon 17:15, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Support
- Support per nominator. No reason for empty projects to continue to be allowed to have their own pages if they have already been locked. Razorflame 07:19, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Support. I had asked around why these projects were still there and never got an relevant answer. No point in having "placeholder" sites. I don't know who decides if these should be
closeddeleted but here's my support. Malafaya 18:15, 2 March 2009 (UTC) - Support I would have opposed deletion if it were projects that were still supported by Wikimedia (like a Tibetan wikisource), but Toki Pona now needs to go to Wikia and we all already know that. --OosWesThoesBes 18:18, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

- Support Req for iso is rejected, however reason is just 'to early', so one day wiki can be restored or started again, if. --Dalibor Bosits 12:50, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

General discussion
Since there's no opposition, I propose to close this discussion in a week's time (23 March) and then I'll fill a new bug report in Bugzilla. I'm not sure what to do with proposal of redirecting the subdomain to Wikipesija. I think this could be problematic because it would make impression that Wikipesija is an edition of Wikipedia, or that the Wikimedia Foundation is somehow responsible for Wikipesija, while that's not true. --Filemon 12:06, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
I requested deletion in bug 18142. --Filemon 00:49, 25 March 2009 (UTC)- See bug 11511. --Filemon 22:42, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
