The following discussion is closed: April Fools' joke; now it's the 5th I think we should probably wrap this up. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 04:32, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I can name a gazillion numbers bigger than 2.8 million. There's 3 million, 4 million, 5 million... And 416 is so tiny compared to 2.8 million that it's not worth being compared to larger numbers. Hardly worth anything, really... 296.5 million edits may seem big, but there are still numbers way bigger than it - have y'all heard of the number 360 trillion?

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose Sure, it doesn't have enough edits, but that's not a reason to close. A bot could bring the count up to 360 trillion easily. Algebraist 14:12, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose Rename it to "simple English" and close the other one because of redundancy. --FritzG 14:36, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose - we don't want more edits; articles with more than around 5,000 edits can't be easily deleted, a particular problem with the en:Main page, which never gets deleted any more. Suggest reverting to more manageable version - this one from February 2001 might be a good place to start. Warofdreams 20:33, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. We should be merging it with Uncyclopedia to counter the bias. --Carnildo 22:23, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
