The result was close. MaxSem(Han shot first!) 11:06, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I propose to close this discussion within 5 days from now, if there are no objections. --MF-Warburg(de) 15:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
The only activity on the Dzongkha wiktionary is the index.php spambot. Ahoerstemeier 16:10, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

- Support closing. Not a single word of Dzongkha. The wiki has been open at least since April 2005. All there is is a very basic main page and three index.php spambot pages. --Jorunn 21:14, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Oppose closing
[edit]The closure of a language just because it is not 'active' is not a good reason. Let it develop. The Dzongkha keyboard and linux has just been revised. There will be more. Don't close it! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.13.192.52 (talk)

[edit]First I've heard of this was today. Closure was a bad idea - The Dzongkha Wiktionary should have been allowed time and space to develop. Remember internet use in places like Bhutan is years, maybe decades behind what it is in western countries and pretty well no one in Bhutan was even aware there was a Dzongkha Wiktionary. Now if a Bhutanese comes along wanting to add Dzongkha words it is impossible. How does one go about proposing re-opening?
Perhaps Wikimedia should try to do a little more more to try and inform people / raise awareness in developing countries about these projects, then projects for lesser used languages might see more activity. CFynn 08:45, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
