The only activity on the Belorussian wikiquote is the index.php spambot. Ahoerstemeier 11:10, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

support

# Support MF-Warburg(de) 15:33, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Support How many spammed wikiquotes are there?? The third behind the others... --Ooswesthoesbes 15:37, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Support Unless several dedicated contributors with everyday commitment to project will not move it forward. Same thing about Belarusian Wiktionary (http://omegawiki.org looks better variant) and Wikibooks. --EugeneZelenko 13:49, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

oppose

[edit]
  1. Oppose The emptiness of this is simply and plainly a result of misunderstanding. Yury Tarasievich 20:42, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose --MaximLitvin 07:05, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Oppose There is clear activity after its existence was announced at the Belorussian Wikipedia. —Tox 17:37, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Oppose there is now some content. Majorly (talk) 12:12, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Oppose some content (q:be:Special:Allpages) and new useful activity (q:be:Special:Recentchanges) --A. B. (talk) 14:47, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is disappointing after the promise of new life for this project this summer -- there's been no content added since 11 September 2007. Maybe this is a summer-time only project. I'd say if there's nothing more added in the next few weeks, I'm inclined to change my comment to "support". --A. B. (talk) 18:08, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Oppose it has content and activity now. The nomination for closure worked very well, the wiki came alive. --Jorunn 22:15, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Strong Oppose. Belorussian language is living Language. Low activity... It'll be liquidate. But not liquidate Belorussian wiki-project. :) --Pauk 04:51, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  8. As has been mentioned below, the existing Belorussian wiki communities had no idea this site existed. Ignorance has been reduced, activity has picked up; it's a win/win. :) EVula // talk // 05:14, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

general discussion

[edit]

I've notified both Belarusian wikipedia communities. See be:Вікіпедыя:Суполка#Беларусский Викицитатник and be-x-old:Вікіпэдыя:Форум#закрытие беларуского викицитатника. Now, the Belarusian Wikiquote has already a first article. It turns out, that the Belarusian community was completely unaware of the existence of be.wikiquote. So let's give it some time. --Johannes Rohr 21:23, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. Let's see what will happen. --Aphaia 14:40, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not terribly active and most of its articles are stubbish though, Belorussian Wikiquote seems to have close to 90 pages in main namespace as of yet. I think we can now close this request safely as declined, due to the lack of validity of the original claims upon changes which happened since then.

So I move to close this vote, as declined, if there is no objection within a week. --Aphaia 13:15, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
