Project Tiger Editathon 2018/Categories and templates
Essential categories and templates to be used for articles belonging to the contest
[edit]Every Wikipedia language community participating in this contest is expected to create the following supporting items:
A template is prepared similar to the one shown below. To start with, you may copy the source from here. Immediately, translate the relevant words and phrases to your language and save the template.
{{Tmbox |type=notice |imageright=[[File:Tiger cartoon face.jpg|80px]] |textstyle="color: #346733; font-weight:bold; " |text=<center><big>This article {{#if:{{{potential|}}}|can be potentially expanded| was {{#if:{{{expanded|}}}|expanded|created}} as part of [[Wikipedia:Project Tiger Writing Contest|Project Tiger Editathon 2018]].}}</big></center> <includeonly> {{#if:{{{potential|}}} | [[Category:Articles potentially expandable as part of Project Tiger editathon 2018]] |{{#if:{{{expanded|}}} | [[Category:Articles expanded as part of Project Tiger editathon 2018]] |[[Category:Articles created as part of Project Tiger editathon 2018]]}}}} </includeonly>
This should appear similar to the shown below, but in your Wikipedia language, when translated completely and inserted into the talk page of one of the articles belonging to the event.
- For newly created articles
- For already existing stub articles but now expanded
- For potentially expandable stub articles
New Categories
[edit]One of three categories can be added to a candidate article.
- For articles newly created, Category:Articles created as part of Project Tiger 2018 (Q50828003)
- For articles that were already existing bu now expanded, Category:Articles expanded as part of Project Tiger 2018 (Q50827243)
- For articles already existing but not yet expanded, Category:Articles potentially expandable as part of Project Tiger editathon 2018 (Q50833570). When such an article is worked upon and expanded, it should be moved from this category to the Category:Articles expanded as part of Project Tiger 2018 (Q50827243). This is easily done by just replacing the word 'potential' to expanded in the talk page line calling the template.
These two categories are to be under a newly made Category:Articles belonging to Project Tiger editathon 2018 (Q50827866) as its subcategories. Further, this category itself should be included under Category:Project Tiger Editathon 2018 (Q50377277) if it does not exist already.
