My Kusaal Achiever Editing Contest/Kusaal Wikimedia Community
Background
[edit]There are so many individuals who has made significant contributions in diverse ways to the development of the Kusaug traditional area. There is the need to celebrate these individuals by documenting their lives and stories to inspire both the current and future generations. It is on this background that the Kusaal Wikimedia Community is undertaking this project to create and or improve Wikipedia articles and Wikidata items for prominent people whose efforts has contributed to the development and wellbeing of the people from the Kusaug area. Some of these personalities live within whiles others live outside of the area. There are some who are not indigenes of the area but have had a great impact in the area.

- Recruit new editors for the Kusaal Wikimedia Community
- Create new or improve existing Kusaal Wikipedia articles on prominent personalities in/from the Kusaug traditional area.
- Encourage contributors to add well-sourced citations to existing Kusaal Wikipedia articles.
- Create new or improve existing Wikidata items on prominent personalities in/from the Kusaug traditional area.
- Discussions about the specific challenges of editing Wikipedia and Wikidata.
