Wiki Loves Ramadan 2025 is an annual global initiative aimed at enriching Wikimedia platforms with comprehensive content related to the customs, traditions, and cultural practices observed during the holy month of Ramadan. This project seeks to document the rich diversity of Ramadan observances across various communities, thereby enhancing the representation of Islamic heritage on platforms such as Wikipedia, Wikibooks, and Wikivoyage. Our objectives are to create or improve over 5,000 articles focusing on Ramadan-related topics, including cultural traditions, religious practices, and biographies of notable Islamic figures. Empower local organizers with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively lead national-level initiatives, ensuring the sustainability of the project beyond its initial phase.
