April confirmations

Being picky, shouldn't confirmations had to be started 3 days ago? Best regards, — Dferg (talk) 13:06, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Do we have a list of users for both category one and two? I think it would be best to compile that first and then notify those in category two. Ottava Rima (talk) 14:02, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I've posted a list of administrators that might be removed under current criteria. — Dferg (talk) 16:27, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Log actions

I changed "log actions" to admin actions in the criteria as it seems to me that that's what was actually intended. We have a lot of people who edit MediaWiki namespace pages (e.g. central notices) or blacklists and are fairly active admins, but do not do much protections/deletions/blocks/etc. vvvt 19:56, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Exemptions

I think a possible exemption list should be created based on a few key groups: staff, stewards, and people granted admin status here for technical reasons. Instead, their adminship should be based on their holding that position and stay until that position is changed or no longer required for that position. However, this proposal would also have the philosophical idea that they are granted admin ops for technical aspects of that position and would not need to run to begin with. What do others think? I proposed automatic adminship for Stewards in Babel and there was little response. Ottava Rima (talk) 23:34, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
