I would like to request the translation adminship to help to improve and localize contents, mainly for projects, proposals and requests from Brasil. I created some projects and proposals last year and this year and the level of contributions in my language(Portuguese) is too low in that area, with that permissions I will able to translate and make translatable my own pages and the pages created by my fellows. I get approval for a new user group recently and that permissions will be very important to our planning and report pages.
- Any reason why you need this? It'd be nice if you could write a statement. Glaisher (talk) 04:23, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for writing a statement. Do you know how to tag a page for translation? If you have tagged pages previously, can you please provide some diffs so that others could review it? If you haven't, please read the documentation at mediawiki.org ([1] [2]) and then attempt to tag some pages which you'd like to make translatable and then provide diffs of it. Regards, --Glaisher (talk) 16:09, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- My first attempt was here and it was really complicated to keep it ok and translated. That's why I'm offering my time as a contributor to help with that kind of task. The proposal of the group was approved with a different name and I need to move all pages to a new address, since it was translated I dont have permissions to do it, so I will have to request someone to do it. I want to save others people time doing things like that by myself Rodrigo Padula (talk) 17:02, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't see any major issues with your tagging but could you tag a few more pages (which you initially stated in the statement) so that we could review and provide feedback? Also, if you're requesting this just for moving the pages, RFH is the right way to go, imo. --Glaisher (talk) 15:42, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Appointed. This request has been opened for some time now and I don't see opposition to give Rodrigo the permission he's requested. -- MarcoAurelio 02:48, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
