Statement of the issue
[edit]The mobile web version of the Meta main page does not display several sections of the page that are visible in the desktop view.
I propose that the sections "Current events", "Requests", "Community and communication", "Core issues and collaboration", and "Wikimedia Foundation, Meta-Wiki, and its sister projects" should be shown in the mobile web view, with all of them being collapsable sections that are collapsed by default except for "current events" which would be a collapsable section that is open by default. ↠Pine (✉) 21:08, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

- Update I started this RfC without knowing that a similar proposal had been made in Babel. I have updated this page with a link to the closed discussion on Babel and a link to a Phabricator task. --↠Pine (✉) 06:01, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support mobile usage is increasing and the main page here gets nearly 1/3 mobile pageviews. The current rendering is of little use and should be modified. This proposal is both reasonable and needed. --mikeu talk 14:54, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- Support per my comment here. It's also technically possible to do this, see Special:PermaLink/19782903#New main page that is readable on mobile. Ahmadtalk 19:28, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support Though this RFC is unneeded per Accessibility, we should just do it.--AldnonymousBicara? 19:55, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support This should have been done a long time ago! --Novak Watchmen (talk) 18:12, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
